Blow by your defender
Jump-rope to improve your dodging. Jumping rope drastically improves your agility and quickness, allowing you to more easily run by your defender. The more reps you can do, the better. Try jumping rope in a square pattern, where you take 5 reps forward, 5 to the right, 5 backwards, and then 5 to the left to complete the square pattern. This will help your quickness from side-to-side and front-to-back.
